About Me
Deft Studios was created with the idea that a web site can be exciting while fulfilling its' purpose as a marketing piece. A web site should be fun as well as functional! My background is in marketing and sales, but I've always been a free spirited, creative type of person. From belly dancing, pottery, cooking, to painting, I've sought to express myself creatively throughout my life. In 2007, I began experimenting with Illustrator and photoshop which led to HTML and CSS. After that I discovered a passion for creating innovative, fun, interactive web sites that communicate the marketing message. By keeping the focus on the message, the design supports the communication and functionality of the entire site. Since then I have started my own company Deft Studios which is my vision for the future of internet marketing and web design. I work with a team of excellent individuals that I couldn't have done this without.
When I'm not completely absorbed in a flash animation or coding, I'm usually traveling or out with friends. I love traveling and dancing and I receive so much inspiration from both. I believe in receiving inspiration from as many sources as possible, and I can't imagine working in a creative profession if I don't take the time to experience new things as often as possible.
